All Topics - LIBRARY OF LIBRARIES
Category: Academics

The Internet site that I use to keep all my bookmark libraries is delicious.com.

Unfortunately, it has been bought and sold by different companies through the years and the newest buyer has decided to "improve" the site.

As a result, everything I did in alphabetizing and indexing has been of no use, as things now stand.  It is much harder to save and edit a bookmark.  So, unless things change for the better, I see no use in carrying on.

I am leaving you my entire set of libraries if anyone should enjoy exploring what I have collected over the years.  Right now, you will have to explore 25 libraries at a time with no alphabetizing help.  Even though many tags are listed, the "improvements" have deleted many of my tags.

I'm sorry this all happened because I did enjoy creating these Libraries of Resources and in sharing them with students and teachers.

Enjoy as much as you are able to.  Bill

Make Edible DNA Tags: dna lesson plans dna lesson lesson plans on genetics what is dna dna structure genetics for kids

Thought this looked pretty cool. The TeachGenetics website has a lesson plan for building an edible model of DNA using Twizzlers and marshmallows of different colors. Geared for kids in grades 5 - 12, the teaching guide includes information on basic DNA structure, and the rules of base pairing.

Visit the site's Print and Go Index for additional lessons that include worksheets, overhead masters, and answer keys that can be downloaded in PDF.

Metropolitan Museum of Art: E-Books - LIBRARY OF RESOURCES

The Teacher Resources in this collection are massive!  If you want to teach about Egypt or the Renaissance, for example, these study guides will give you as much material as you need.

Of course, the Metropolitan Museum of Art has so much more, but this collection is limited to their PDF files.  For guides to give to children, explore the Family Guide, Q-and-A, and MuseumKids sections.  The Pre-Visit-Guides are NEW and the guides are highly interactive and help you explore the MMA website.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art recently re-organized their website, so I had to find all their materials yet again.  Even Google is out-of-date.  Yet, these materials are worth it.  They are BEAUTIFUL.  I love them all, and you will, too!

Bill
