The following is a list of sites with libraries of free ebooks, both fiction and non-fiction, K – 12. Follow the links to the sites and input the provided usernames and passwords. 

National Geographic Science Texts: Go to the link, click “for students.” Enter username: ies4ms   password: Gobraves

Click into My Books and you can access Life Science, Earth Science and Physical Science texts. You can also access corresponding activity books and additional magazines.

Tumblebooks: Has storybooks, graphic novels, videos, games, etc.

BookFlix: Scholastic site that pairs classic storybooks (animated) with related nonfiction eBooks. Has interactive games and puzzles. For preschool to grade 3.

Pebble Go: Contains five main modules — animals, science, biographies, social studies, and dinosaurs. For grades K – 3.

Rosen Learning Center: Lots of ebooks here with multiple titles in the following categories: American History; Ancient Civilizations (Egypt, Greece, Rome); Coding and Computer Science; Earth Science; Ecology and Life Science; History of New York; Social and Emotional Learning (eg. Believing in Yourself; Hard Work and Determination; etc.).

National Geographic Explorer Magazine: Six levels are available: Scout (Grade K), Voyager (Grade 1), Pioneer (Grade 2), Trailblazer (Grade 3), Pathfinder (Grade 4), Adventurer (Grades 5 & 6). After you click into an issue, scroll down the page for a link to a Teachers Guide for that issue.
